| For the first time in four years someone other than Twin Valley South claimed the Cross County Conference title in volleyball. The Lady Buccaneers from Covington finished in the top spot in the conference with an 11-1. Led by "Player of the Year" Holly Tobias and "Coach of the Year" Jim Smith, Covington finished the regular season at 15-7 and went on to win a sectional championship.
